Create a model driven app and add all the components, move from one environment to another environment

Step 1: First Create a Model Driven app.

To create a model driven app.

1. Click on gear icon , click on advance settings.

2. Now under the settings click on customization area.

3. Now in customization area click on solution and create a solution.

4. After creating the solution open the solution and create a model driven app

 


Settings > Customization > solutions > click on solution then this page will appear.


Step 2 :

Inside the solution we have components , now search model driven app in the components and click on it .

 

After the click on new button and create the model driven app.

While creating model driven app select choose a welcome page and click on Done button.

 

 

Click on the app which was created


Then app Design will open , now click on site map edit button.

 

 

Before that we ave many options.

Inside components we have two options

1. Artifacts

Entities

Dash boards

Business process flow

 

2. Entity Asserts

Forms

Views

Charts

Dash boards

 

3. Site map

Area

Group

Sub area

So hear first we should add area after that group inside group add sub area

 

So in the sub area we should add entity  

For that select Type as entity

In type we have options like

1. Dash Board

2. Entity

3. Web Resource

4. URL


 

Save and publish.

Then Go to CRM > settings > apps

 


Click on it and open.

 

 

This is the page you can see after opening this app.

 

To move your model driven app from one environment to another environment.

Export your solution and import to another environment and check

 

When you export the solution select publish all the components and export

Solution Imported to another environment.
